DC’s for Bees Orchards in the Community ¦ Host in Ireland

In RWL we are delighted to announce our involvement in DCs for Bees Orchards in the community ¦ Host in Ireland.

Orchards play a key role in providing an early source of food for our struggling bees coming out of winter. From its start in the winter 2021 planting season until this winter of 2023, 3,587 mixed fruit orchards will have been planted across Ireland to help protect bees and increase pollination.

Let us remember that pollination is essential for flowering plants to produce any type of seed and fruit. The exchange of pollen between flowers has the objective of reproduction, it is a fundamental process for maintaining life on earth.

The gardens are being planted by our host partners in Ireland and other interested businesses, in collaboration with community groups, schools and organizations across Ireland.
