The OPT-X 1000i SDX 2RU Rack-Mount Enclosure provides inter-connect or cross-connect between backbone cable and active equipment while minimizing rack space. Designed for easy field termination, splicing, or pre-terminated plug‑and‑play solutions, the enclosure is used in data centers, equipment rooms, and telecommunication rooms. The unit ships empty and includes a sliding tray for front and rear bulkhead access after installation.

Sliding tray — glides forward and backward for front and rear bulkhead access and removes completely for ease of field terminations and splicing.
Constructed of 16-gauge steel, powder-coated black — durable rack hardware.
Retrofit sliding trays available (sold separately) — allow higher-density applications using HDX MTP Cassettes or HDX Adapter Plates; note sliding tray does not accommodate splice trays.
Convertible to HDX cassettes or adapter plate — using conversion bracket sold separately.
